NOBODY’S FASHION WEEK (2020)
Nobody’s Fashion Week is a reimagining of the fashion industry from the bottom up. The show aims to democratize fashion by encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration, skill-sharing culture and self-expression for everyone. This show seeks to engage alternative and emerging textile artists, clothing designers, photographers, models (experienced and first-time), historians, workshop teachers and learners as well as complete beginners engaging with the concept of fashion. Nobody’s Fashion Week was originally intended as an in-person show with a residency program and maker space accessible to all visitors. During COVID, we transitioned the show to be fully participatory online. We look forward to gathering together in person to host the show in person soon.
